Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce wants £10m Arsenal target Ozyakup

Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is preparing a move for Beşiktaş midfielder Oğuzhan Özyakup according to Akşam.

The Turkish newspaper claims that Allardyce is willing to part with £10 million in order to secure his transfer.

The Mirror report that West Ham are also set to make a move for the Turkish international.

The report states that former Black Eagles manager Slaven Bilic is keen on signing the rising star he nurtured over the past two-seasons.

The Hammers could however, also face competition from Arsenal for his signature as the Gunners are interested in their former youth player.

The 22-year-old is currently on international duty with Turkey and has provided fourassists and scored once in all competitions this sesaon.

Turkey are set to book a place in the Euro 2016 play-off round if they get a point against Iceland in their final Group A game but could qualify directly with a win depending on other results.
