Bruma scored a stunning goal in Galatasaray’s 4-2 win against Eskişehirspor in the Turkish Cup.

The Portuguese winger was given a rare start and repaid his manager with an impressive performance.

Recently appointed Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu played Bruma in his first game in charge despite former boss Cesare Prandelli only giving him limited amount of playing time.

Hamzaoğlu is expected to give Bruma a more important role in his team this season.

The 20-year-old winger had been unhappy with his role on the perhiperies of the team under Prandelli and had been linked with a move to Sunderland, Everton and Sporting Lisbon this January.

Sporting CEO Carvalho told Sporx that the club was keeping tabs on him, the report also went onto say Bruma could return on loan.

“Bruma is one of our boys and we are always keeping close tabs on him,” Carvalho said.

“If you are asking me if he will return, well it is still too early to talk but time will tell.”

Premier League outfits Everton and Sunderland are also keeping tabs on the 20-year-old winger according to football agent Marco Kirdemir.

“Sunderland wanted to loan Bruma in January,” Kirdemir said.

“This summer Everton and Monaco wanted Bruma on loan, they had been keeping tabs on him for a while.”

Bruma has one goal and one assist in 10 appearances this season.
