Sunderland set to make bid for Trabzonspor striker

Sunderland are set to make a bid for Trabzonspor striker Dame N’Doye according to the Mirror.

The report claims that N’Doye has been told he can leave the Black Sea Storm on loan for the second half of the season over problems with his pay.

The 30-year-old striker scored five goals in 15 games for Hull City before joining Trabzonspor over the summer transfer window.

N’Doye joined Trabzonspor on a €3.15 million from Hull City and agreed a three year deal at €2.5 million per season plus bonuses.

The Senegal international had another two-seasons remaining on his deal with Hull City but wanted to leave after the Tiger’s were relegated from the Premier League.

N’Doye has yet to score for Trabzonspor in eight league games this season but has provided two assists.

Trabzonspor are currently in 9th place on 14 points after 10 games and take on Başakşehir next in the Turkish Super League.
