Sunderland sign Trabzonspor's forward Dame N'Doye on loan

Sunderland have completed the loan signing of the Trabzonspor forward Dame N’Doye. The 30-year-old will send the rest of the season at the Premier League club.

N’Doye joined Hull City early last year and found the back of the net five times before moving to Turkey in the summer.

The former Lokomotiv Moscow forward spent pre-season with Hull but left after the Black Sea Storm activated his release clause of £2.2m, which was £800,000 less than Hull paid for him.

“Having already played in the Premier League he should have no problems in hitting the ground running,” Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce stated.

The Senegal international has not scored in 12 appearances since moving to the Turkish Super Lig. N’Doye will wear the number 10 jersey at Sunderland.

Trabzonspor take on Bursaspor in the Turkish league this weekend while Sunderland travel to north London to take on Tottenham.

N’Doye  is awaiting a work permit and will be unavailable for Saturday’s trip to Tottenham.
