The Nike Incyte ‘Hi-Vis’ ball will be used this winter in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The same ball is used in the Barclays Premier League in England, La Liga in Spain, and Serie A in Italy.
The latest ball from Nike maximises the ball’s visibility in snow, has a five-layer construction which makes it easy to control in winter conditions.
Also the ball has a high-elasticity layer on the surface that allows for the ball to roll across cold surfaces better.
The ball will come into use from ninth round of Süper Lig games.
Turkey has harsh winters depending on the region. Inner and Eastern Anatolia often experience cold winters with heavy snowfall while it rarely snows in the Mediterranean provinces.
Istanbul and the Black Sea regions can also experience some snowfall but to a lesser degree than central and eastern regions of the country.
