Former Hannover 96 head coach Tayfun Korkut has been linked with taking over at Fenerbahçe in the summer according to the Star newspaper.
Fenerbahçe are currently managed by Ismail Kartal but he is expected to leave at the end of the season.
Kartal was assistant manager under Aykut Kocaman, helping guide the Yellow Canaries to the league title two seasons ago.
Fenerbahçe are currently third but trail first placed Beşiktaş and second placed Galatasaray by just one point.
Korkut was appointed manager of Hannover in January 2014 and helped the side to avoid relegation last season.
Hannover are back in a relegation battle against this season and Michael Frontzeck has taken over as head coach.
The young coach became the first Turkish international to take over a Bundesliga club when he was appointed Hannover manager last season.
It was the first senior coaching job for the former Fenerbahçe midfielder who previously worked as a youth team coach at Real Sociedad, Hoffenheim and VfB Stuttgart.
