Besiktas goalkeeper Tolga Zengin has suffered knee ligament damage during his sides 3-2 victory over Bursaspor.

Zengin had to be substituted in the 15th minute after he sustained an injury while trying to save Bakambu’s shot.

Besiktas’ head physio Ertuğrul Karanlık confirmed that scans revealed ligament damage to Zengin’s knee on BJK TV.

The Turkish international keeper will be out for four weeks according to Lig Tv.

Zengin will miss the mid-week Europa League Round of 32 clash against Liverpool due to injury.

The experienced keeper conceded 23 times in 27 appearances for the Black Eagles this season and kept nine clean sheets.

Zengin will be replaced by 26-year-old Cenk Gönen. The Turkish international keeper has conceded 10 times in 10 games and kept a total of two clean sheets this season.

Beşiktaş travel to England take on Liverpool at Anfield on Thursday 19 February 2015 for the first leg.

The second-leg will be played on Thursday 26 February at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
