Beşiktaş goalkeeper Tolga Zengin has revealed that he wants to retire at his current club.

“I love it here at Beşiktaş, I can see myself retiring here,” Zengin told DHA.

The 31-year-old keeper joined Beşiktaş on a £2.4 million move from Trabzonspor in 2013.

The Turkish international has conceded 23 goals and kept nine clean sheets in 27 appearances in all competitions for Beşiktaş this season.

Zengin has conceded a total of 58 goals and kept 23 clean sheets for the Black Eagles since joining.

Beşiktaş are currently second in the Süper Lig on 48 points after 22 games.

The Eagles are only three points behind league leaders Galatasaray and have the chance to move into first place with a win against Sivasspor if the Lions lose against Fenerbahçe.

Zengin is currently out injured and not expected back for another fortnight.

 

The experienced keeper missed the Eagles Europa League Round of 32 tie against Liverpool but is expected to return in time for the Last 16 against Club Brugge.
