Tolgay Arslan tipped For Turkish national team Call-up

Tolgay Arslan has been one of the stars of the season despite joining Besiktas during the winter transfer window.

The 24-year-old moved from the Bundesliga club HSV to the Black Eagles for just €500,000 in January and has made 11 Turkish Super Lig appearances.

Arslan also scored a stunning goal against Liverpool in the Europa League.

The Paderborn born midfielder has captured the attention of Turkish national team manager Fatih Terim who is expected to call Arslan up to international duty.

Arslan has previously played for the Germany U20 and Germany U21 sides.

Besiktas are currently in first place following three victories in a row. The Black Eagles have 64 points after 29 games, equal to Galatasaray who are second. Fenerbahce sit in third place with 63 points in 29 games.
