Tore not allowed to return unless West Ham pay £2.5m says Besiktas boss

Gokhan Tore joined West Ham on a one-year loan over the summer transfer window from Besiktas.

Tore joined the Hammers for a £2.5 million loan fee with a £10 million buyout clause option.

The Turkish international star has however, struggled to settle in at West Ham and has provided just one assist all season.

Tore has been out injured for the past few weeks but will have to work hard to get himself back in the first team.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman revealed that Tore wants to return back to his parent club but that he will only be able to return if the Hammers pay his £2.5 million loan fee in full.

Orman revealed that he is open to Tore returning but will not consider cutting his loan deal short if the loan fee is not paid.

“Tore wants to return, if West Ham pay the loan fee in full we will accept otherwise we won’t,” Orman said at a recent conference.

Besiktas are currently in the title race and are currently competing in the Champions League group stages.
