Torino target Roma’s Salih Ucan
Torino have been linked with a move for AS Roma’s young central midfielder Salih Ucan. According to the Rome based newspaper Il Messaggero Roma.
The report states that Torino are willing to guarantee Uçan playing time in order to secure him until the end of the season. The young midfielder has played just three minutes of Serie A football this season for Roma.
The report goes onto say that Roma will be willing to let Ucan go if he will play first team football in the Serie A.
Ucan’s agent Ömer Koray Uzun recently stated that his client does not want to return to Fenerbahce in January.
“He [Uçan] does not want to leave Roma or return to his old club, nor has there been any contact,” Uzun stated.
Serie A sides Atlanta, Verona and Empoli have also been linked with Ucan in recent weeks.
The 20-year-old midfielder is currently on a two-year loan at Roma, the Italian club have the option to sign the talented playmaker at any time during the loan.
