Tottenham & Besiktas progress to Round of 32 [divider]
Tottenham and Beşiktaş have both progressed to the Europa League Round of 32 from Group C.
Spurs beat Partizan 1-0 at White Hart Lane to move into first place on 11 points.
Benjamin Stambouli scores his first goal for Tottenham on 49 minutes to wrap up the three points.
Partizan are still yet to record a single point in the competition this season.
In the other Group C game Beşiktaş dropped into second place following a 2-2 draw with Asteras but it was still enough to secure a place in the next round.
Demba Ba put Beşiktaş ahead midway through the first half with a well timed volley.
Gökhan Töre doubled the Black Eagles lead from the penalty spot.
Beşiktaş were in cruise control until a defensive lapse allowed substitute Jerónimo Barrales to pull one back for the home side. The goal was followed immediately after by Atiba Hutchison being sent off for the Eagles.
Facundo Parra got a lucky touch to equalise soon after but Asteras were unable to find the winner.
Beşiktaş need a win against Tottenahm in Istanbul on 11 December to clinch first place.
