Tottenham sent scouts to keep tabs on Mainz 05 star Yunus Malli according to Talksport.

Spurs have been keeping close tabs on Malli and have sent scouts to watch the Turkish international on more than one occasion this season.

German newspaper Kicker reported yesterday that the north London based outfit are planning a summer move for the 23-year-old.

The report does however, claim that Spurs could face competition from Borussia Dortmund and Valencia.

Malli starred in the Mainz’s 2-0 defeat away to Dortmund on the weekend and put on a decent performance making the highest number of successful dribbles for his side (2).

The young midfielder has been in great form for his side scoring 10 times and providing three assists in 28 appearances this season.

Malli is expected to feature in the Turkish national side in Euro 2016 this summer after switching allegiances from the Germany U21 side to the senior Turkihs national team.

The Mainz star would become the first Turkish international player to sign for Spurs if he were to make the move this summer.
