Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has left several first-team players in London ahead of the Europa League Group C clash against Beşiktaş.
Jan Vertonghen, Kyle Naughton, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane have all been left at home for the trip to Istanbul.
Emmanuel Adebayor has not travelled with the squad due to having personal problems.
Pochettino could play youth players 18-year-old Harry Winks and 17-year-old Josh Onomah against the Black Eagles.
The Tottenham boss revealed that he has to rotate his side against Beşiktaş to cope with the tough run of fixtures over the next few weeks.
“We have a lot of games ahead in the league and we play Newcastle in the Capital One Cup next Wednesday,” Pochettino said.
“We need to manage the players and we have many injury problems because it’s tough for our players.”
