Trabzonspor are not in Poland for a holiday says Yanal [divider]
Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal underlined that his side will be taking the Europa League Group L game against Legia Warsaw seriously despite having secured a place in the Round of 32.
“We are not hear for a holiday, we want to clinch first place,” Yanal said.
“This team, these coaches, the staff and the fans deserve to finish first.
“We must believe in ourselves, we showed that he have a great spirit after winning the last game despite being down to 10 men.”
Yanal also revealed that he is disappointed that the game will be played without any fans.
“Everybody wants fans to be in the stands, it is horrible when the fans are banned from games,” Yanal said.
“It also makes it harder to play for the players but we have to adapt, there is no point complaining too much about it as there is nothing we can do.
“UEFA decided that fans cannot attend the game due to racism as a result both sets of fans have been punished.”
Trabzonspor will move into first place with a win against Legia.
