Trabzonspor have officially confirmed that they have parted company with Vahid Halilhodzic.
The Black Sea based side and Halilhodzic have agreed upon a €980,000 severance deal which is significantly less than the €1.6 million which was originally reported.
Trabzonspor released a statement to the stock exchange which reads: “The contract between our club and Vahid Halilhodzic has been mutually terminated.”
Trabzonspor shipped out 28 players and made 22 transfers including the likes of Oscar Cardozo, Majeed Waris and Mehmet Ekici this summer.
Halilhodzic’s second spell at Trabzonspor lasted a total of 116 days. The former Algeria national team coach won four, drew eight and lost two of the 14 games he managed
