Trabzonspor in talks with former Chelsea & Real Madrid midfielder Essien

Trabzonspor are in talks with the AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien according to the Italian sports website Calcionews24.
The Black Sea Storm’s manager Ersun Yanal is keen to add options to his midfield in January.
Essien’s agent Fabien Piveteau spoke with Calcionews24 regarding transfer speculation surrounding his client.
“We have had contact from a couple Premier League clubs. We also have received an offer from Trabzonspor,” Piveteau stated.
“In fact, we have also met with Trabzonspor several times.
“Essien is currently a AC Milan player but we do not know what the future will hold.”
The Ghana international has previously played for Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Essien has made eight appearances for AC Milan this season.
