Trabzonspor join race for Serdar Taşçı [divider]
Trabzonspor are set to table a bid for Spartak Moscow defender Serdar Taşçı according to Fanatik.
The Black Sea based side are reported to have made an enquiry for Taşçı and reached an agreement-in-principle with Spartak.
Taşçı has the same agent as Emre Belözoğlu and Arda Turan – Ahmet Bulut.
Bulut however, recently told EurosportTR that he expected Taşçı to stay in Russia.
“Serdar Taşçı is happy at Spartak Moscow,” Bulut stated.
“Their has been no contact with Trabzonspor. Nor has their been any talks with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce or Besiktas.”
The 27-year-old centre back has made 14 appearances for Germany but is eligible to play as a Turkish national in Turkey.
The experienced defender was born in Germany but is of Turkish origin.
Taşçı joined Spartak on a £3.5m move from Stuttgart last season and still has two-years left on his contract.
The former Stuttgart player has one goal and provided on assist in 12 league appearances for Spartak Moscow this season.
