The Turkish Super Lig broadcaster claim that the Black Sea Storm made a €7 million bid for the Senegalese international last season and and are preparing a new bid this summer.

Trabzonspor are on the look out for a new striker following the injury to Oscar Cardozo which will keep the Paraguayan international out of action for at lest two months.

Newcastle recently rejected a bid from Beşiktaş for Papiss Cisse according to the Express.

Cisse who has two years remaining on this contract joined Newcastle from SC Freiburg for €14.5 million back in January 2012.

The experienced striker is keen on staying at Newcastle over the summer and scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for the Premier League outfit last season.

“I’m here, I’m Newcastle and I have one and a half (years on my) contract,” he told Sky Sports recently.

“I am a Newcastle striker. I just think about my holiday and when I go back to Newcastle I will try to work hard and try to make the team.”
