Trabzonspor goalkeeper Onur Kivrak has returned to training after recovering from knee surgery.

Kivrak has begun strength training but is not expected to be ready until the end of the season.

The Turkish international suffered a knee injury against Legia Warsaw in the Europa League at the start of October.

“My moral was low following the injury but spending time with my family has helped. Things will improve from now on,” Kivrak said.

Trabzonspor are expected to sign a goalkeeper on a loan deal in January.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper made 46 appearances for Trabzonspor last season.

Kivrak has been at Trabzonspor since moving to the Black Sea based side in 2008 from Karsiyaka.
