Trabzonspor suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat in the Europa League Round of 32 first-leg at the Avni Aker stadium.
Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal revealed that he was shocked with the result and that his side must make up for their poor performance.
“We have to make amends for the Napoli embarrasment, we are in a really tough position now but there is a return-leg and we have to at least prove ourselves,” Yanal was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.

Yanal also underlined that Trabzonspor must not lose focus on the league following the heavy defeat.
“We have very important league games coming up and have to keep working our way up the standings,” he added.
Napoli recorded their biggest away win in European competition in the first leg.
Trabzonspor suffered their heaviest home defeat in Europe following the 4-0 scoreline.
The Black Sea Storm are currently in 5th place in the league and will move up into 4th place with a win against Kasımpaşa.
