Tuchel prepared for Arsenal & Liverpool targets departure

Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that he is prepared if Ilkay Gundogan decides to leave this club this summer.

The German manager went onto say that plans for next season ahve already begun and if Gundogan opts to move, they will ne able to deal with it.

 

“I am not disappointed about what’s happened. Am I convinced that he will stay put? I will only be convinced he will stay once he signs a new deal,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by Goal.

“If not, we will have to deal with it. Gundogan knows why he is here and how he can develop with Dortmund, I would be amazed if things would change in that regard.”

Manchester United and Liverpool are have been linked with a move for Gundogan by the Metro.

However, Manchester City are currently in pole position to sign the Germany international.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf uploaded a photo of City chief Txixi Begiristain and Gundogan’s uncle and agent Ilhan Gundogan in Amsterdam.

 

Gundogan was heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants last summer but instead signed a one-year extension.

The 25-year-old has six assists and three goals in 32 appearances for Dortmund this season.
