Turkish giants on alert as Man Utd starlet holds talks over future

Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj could be loaned out next season according to the Sun.

Recently appointed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reported to be a fan of Januzaj but the Belgium international will fall further down the pecking order if Henrikh Mkhitaryan joins as expected.

The Sun quoted a United source saying: “It seems like Adnan is way down the first-team playing order now, but he is really well liked by Jose who rates him highly.”

Januzaj has been closely linked with Turkish giants Galatasaray and Besiktas over the past season.

The Hurriyet newspaper reported that Galatasaray were preparing a loan move last month and Besiktas are also in the market for a winger as they prepare for Gokhan Tore’s expected exit.

Galatasaray are currently having to change their spending structure after being hit with a one-year European competition ban for failing to meet FFP standards and are keen on loaning Premier League players.

Besiktas who are in a better financial state but also under FFP investigation have pursued a policy of loaning players over the past few seasons to great success.
