Turkish giants turn attention towards Man Utd midfielder after failing to land Liverpool's Lucas Leiva

Galatasaray have turned their attention towards Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini after failing to sign Lucas Leiva from Liverpool according to the Turkish outlet Mynet.

Per-the-source Galatasaray have launched a loan bid for the Belgium international. Fellaini does however, want to fight for his place in the squad and he was named in the provision squad for United’s opening game of the season against Bournemouth.

The Express also has reported that Galatasaray are interested in signing the Belgium international midfielder. The report goes onto state that Fellaini is unpopular among United fans who are at odds with his physical and playing style. The Express go onto state that the arrival of Paul Pogba will push Fellaini further down the pecking order.

Galatasaray were previously linked with Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva however, the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp put an end to the move following an injury crisis at Anfield.
