Turkish international passes West Ham medical ahead of loan deal

West Ham v Chelsea

Besiktas’ star winger Gokhan Tore has taken a step closer towards completing his move to the Premier League club West Ham United.

Sources close to the player have told Turkish-Football that the 24-year-old has passed his West Ham medical. Tore is expected to put pen-to-paper on a one year loan deal with West Ham by the end of the week. The Hammers have the option to sign Tore included within the deal

West Ha had a bid for Tore rejected last month according to SkySports. The 24-year-old will become the first player from Besiktas to join Slaven Bilic at the Hammers since he left the Black Eagles last summer.

Tore excelled at Besiktas under the stewardship of Bilic and has actually played longer under his command – two seasons – than any other current West Ham player. The former Chelsea player provided nine assists and scored six goals in 35 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions last season.
