Valencia have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Oguzhan Ozyakup from Besiktas.

The Spanish outlet Deportivo Valenciano state that Valencia want to bring in Ozyakup as a replacement for Andre Gomes who joined Barcelona last month.

Deportivo Valenciano go onto state that both Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in signing the Besiktas midfielder.

Meanwhile the Turkish Super League broadcaster LigTV state that United are readying a €20m bid for Ozyakup. Per the source, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been impressed with the scouting report on Ozyakup and could be tempted into making a move for the former Arsenal midfielder.

The 23-year-old is no stranger to English football having played for Arsenal previously. The international midfielder joined Arsenal’s academy from AZ back in 2008 and went on to make his Arsenal debut in 2011 in the League Cup.

Ozyakup scored 10 times and setup eight goals for the Super Lig champions in all competitions last season.
