Valencia prepare bid for Manchester United target

Valencia are preparing to table a bid for Fenerbahce’s Portugal international winger Luis Nani according to the Hurriyet.

The daily Turkish newspaper has reported that Valencia are set to offer Fenerbahce a €5 million offer for the flamboyant winger over the coming days.

The 29-year-old has been closely linked with several Premier League, Serie A and La Liga sides over the past few weeks. Manchester United are understood to have agreed personal terms with Nani according to Turkish media outlet DHA.

Man Utd did however, sell Nani to Fenerbahce for less than his release clause fee – €8.5m – last season on a three-year deal.

The Portuguese international is still deciding on his future but is considering leaving Fenerbahce after the European Championships according to his agent Lucas Brascherini.

“Nani will make a decision on his future once he is back but he is looking to leave Fenerbahce,” Brascherini was quoted as saying by AS.

Nani joined Fenerbahce on a three-year deal from Manchester United last season but is reported to have failed out with head coach Vitor Pereira.
