Valencia step up efforts to sign €8.5m Liverpool target

Valencia are reported to be monitoring Fenerbahce winger Luis Nani as they prepare an €8.5 million bid which would activate the Fenerbahce winger’s release clause according to NTV Spor.

The Turkish sports channel states that Valencia have yet to trigger Nani’s release clause and also reports that Everton are also considering an offer.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik meanwhile report that Liverpool are also ready to activate Nani’s release clause.

The Portuguese international is still deciding on his future but is considering leaving Fenerbahce after the European Championships according to his agent Lucas Brascherini.

Nani will not however, make a decision on his future until after the European Championships are over.

“Nani will make a decision on his future once he is back but he is looking to leave Fenerbahce,” Brascherini was quoted as saying by AS.

Nani is currently the joint top scorer for Portugal at Euro 2016 – alongside Cristiano Ronaldo – and has been one of the stand out performers for his national team.

The 29-year-old joined Fenerbahce on a three-year deal from Manchester United last season but is reported to have failed out with head coach Vitor Pereira.
