Veli Kavlak never considered leaving Beşiktaş according to football agent Ceylan Çalışkan.
“Veli received a lot of offers,” Çalışkan said.
“However, he never even considered leaving Beşiktaş, there were a lot of offers, a lot of clubs wanted him and there was a Turkish club that made a huge offer but Veli has always wanted to stay at Beşiktaş.”
The hard working midfielder has been linked with Everton, Lazio and Fenerbahçe in recent weeks.
The Austrian international is reported to have agreed a contract extension with the Black Eagles.
Kavlak was born in Austria but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.
The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has seven goals and 14 assists in 122 appearances for the Black Eagles.
