Beşiktaş crushed Antalyaspor 5-1 at the Antalya Arena to extend their lead at the top of the table ahead of Istanbul rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe to four points.
Necip Uysal opened the scoring to Beşiktaş but Samuel Eto’o equalised soon after on 21 minutes with a wonderful strike to record his seventh goal of the season.
Germany international Mario Gomez regained the lead for Beşiktaş bravely heading the ball over the line before getting kicked in the face.
Fellow German Andres Beck set Gomez up with his brace on 63 minutes for what was his 9th goal of the season.
Olcay Şahan scored the Eagles fourth goal after being setup with a brilliant assist from Oğuzhan Özyakup and second half substitute Cenk Gönen scored the fifth and final goal just before the final whistle.
