Arda Turan thought he was going to get to play in the derby against Espanyol on 2 January 2016 but will now not be able to play until the following week against Granada.
The bearded winger has however, been keeping himself occupied and his social media followers updated with his off the field activities which have involved kicking balls into basketball hoops and playacting with Luis Suarez but his latest stunt has been to teach Spanish speakers a bit of Turkish.
Turan has been learning Spanish – he probably should be fluent by now after spending several years in Spain – but he took some time out to teach his followers a bit of Turkish.
The Turkish international’s friend tells his Spanish followers how to say ‘I love you’ in Turkish. There is also a big cake in the video that Turan may want to stay away from if he wants to get in shape for the second half of the season.
