Arda Turan has so much free time on his hands that he has taken up watching basketball and has developed a fondness for his former club Galatasaray.
The Lions are better known for their football but also have several sports branches including basketball.
Galatasaray beat rivals Fenerbahçe today in the basketball Intercontinental derby and Turan was filmed celebrating wildly from home after the final whistle.

Turan is of course unable to play for his new club until the turn of the year due to the FIFA transfer ban currently in place.
The Turkish intentional joined the reigning La Liga champions on a five-year deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer but Barcelona have been unable to register him.
The bearded winger was expected to leave on loan but manager Luis Enrique decided to keep Turan at the club so that he trains with the team and adapts to the clubs philosophy.
