Video: Ex Man Utd star Robin van Persie scores 9th goal in Turkey

Turkey League

Fenerbahçe beat Sivasspor 2-1 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium to move just one point behind league leaders Beşiktaş.

Robin van Persie opened the scoring for Fenerbahçe on 24 minutes showing his predator instincts being first to react to Sivasspor keeper Setkus parrying Diego Ribas’ shot away and neatly tucking the ball away into the back of the net.

The former Manchester United star now has nine goals and an assist in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries this season.

Van Persie has scored more goals than any other Manchester United player this season.
