Video: Mersin 0-2 Konyaspor – Anatolian Eagles move into 3rd place

Konyaspor beat Mersin 2-0 at the Mersin Arena to move into third place in the Turkish Super League.

Traore gave the Anatolian Eagles the lead on 25 minutes reacting first to a goal mouth scramble just outside the six-yard box.

Bajic ensured all three points when he doubled the away sides lead with a flying header making the most of Omer Sahiner’s cross on 83 minutes.

The victory saw Konyaspor overtake Basaksehir and move into third place on 40 points. The Eagles will end the week in 3rd if Galatasaray fail to win their league game away against Gaziantepspor on Sunday.

Konyaspor are coached by Aykut Kocaman who previously won the league as manager of Fenerbahce.
