Wesley Sneijder & Aurelian Chedjou could miss Gençlerbirliği game with injury [divider]
Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder and defender Aurelian Chedjou could miss the Süper Lig game against Gençlerbirliği on Friday according to club doctor Yener İnce.
“Sneijder has had a problem with his foot for a while,” İnce said.
“We have been giving him special injections but he needs a rest and will not be training this week.
“It is difficult to say whether he will be able to start on Saturday or not, it is too early to tell.
“Chedjou has a small problem with his knee but it is nothing to get too worried about.
“He just needs to rest it but I cannot say if he will start on Friday.
“We will assess both players situations later on in the week.”
Sneijder and Chedjou are both first team players for Galatasaray.
The Lions are currently in second place with 30 points after 14 games in the Süper Lig this season.
