Per-the-source, West Brom are the latest side to join the race to sign the Belgium international who is expected to leave by the end of the month. The Mirror states that Benteke is unwanted by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, just 12 months after this £32m move to Anfield.
The report goes onto state that West Brom manager Tony Pulis wants Benteke as a replacement for want-away striker Saido Berahino.
Turkish league champions Besiktas have also confirmed interest in the Liverpool striker.
“Benteke is a player we are interested, we are pushing for him and would want him to be transferred to the club.” Besiktas vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi revealed to Turkish-Football.
Meanwhile, Fanatik report that the Istanbul giants are willing to offer a £2.58 million loan fee to cover part of his wages as part of the deal.
Besiktas will however, have to rely on transfer talks between Crystal Palace and Liverpool breaking down as the South London based outfit are reported to have matched his £32 million asking price according to the Mirror.
