West Brom target Demba Ba wants out at Besiktas

Demba Ba wants to leave Besiktas according to the Black Eagles newly appointed manager Senol Güneş.

The experienced manager confirmed in an interview with LigTV that the Senegalese international wants out at Besiktas.

“We are on the lookout for a new striker following Demba Ba’s request to leave.” Güneş told LigTV

West Brom are also in talks with the Senegalese international according to the Daily Star and are willing to match his wages and asking price.

The 29-year-old striker is no stranger to Premier League football having played for Chelsea, Newcastle United and West Ham in the past.

The Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua have also launched a bid for the experinced striker and have released a statement confirming talks with Ba.

The statement read: “We are targeting three strikers Seydou Doumbia, Mame Barem Diouf and Demba Ba. Talks with Demba Ba are going well and we are waiting for his final response.”

Ba joined the Turkish giants on a €6 million move from Chelsea last season and scored a career record 27 goals in all competitions.
