West Ham boss Slaven Bilic remains determined to sign Gokhan Tore

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed that he is determined to sign Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore.

Bilci was quoted by Fotospor as saying: “We will try every avenue to sign him [Gokhan Tore], we will see what happens.”

This is not the first time Bilic has openly stated his desire to sign the Turkish international winger.

Bilic coached Tore for two seasons at Besiktas and is credited with bringing the best out of the flamboyant winger.

The Hammers are reported to have already agreed personal terms with Tore who wants to make the move a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

Besiktas boss Fikret Orman revealed that the Hammers have made an offer for Tore but that is was a loan bid.

“We received a loan offer with a buyout clause option which we rejected,” Orman stated in his press-conference.

The Black Eagles president underlined that they are only looking to sell Tore on a permanent move and will not accept a loan.

Tore will go into pre-season without having played in the European Championships this summer. Despite being a regular callus for the national team setup Tore was suspended for Turkey’s first two game and was subsequently dropped from the squad.
