West Ham boss uncertain over Emenike transfer

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has revealed that he is uncertain whether Fenerbahçe are prepared to released Emmanuel Emenike.

Bilic revealed that he is fond of the Nigerian international but denied having reached an agreement with the powerful striker.

“There is no agreement with Emenike he is an important player but Fenerbahçe may need an extra striker and I am uncertain if they will release him,” Bilic told Fanatik.

West Ham are reported to have made a loan bid for  Emenike to sign him until the end of the season with a future buyout clause according to SkySports.

The Sun newspaper has also claımed that the Hammers have held talks with Fenerbahce striker Emenike, who has played on loan at UAE club Al Ain.

The 28-year-old striker struggled last season scoring just five goals over the course of the league campaign and fell out with the fans.

The Nigerian international scored seven times in 11 appearances for Al Ain but has returned to Turkey following the opening of the winter transfer window.
