West Ham thrashed Blackburn 5-1 in the FA Cup 5th round at Ewood Park and winter signing Emmanuel Emenike scored on his first full debut for the club.

The Nigerian international actually scored a brace – his first goals since joining on a six-month loan from Fenerbahce.

We took a look on social media to find out what West Ham fans made of Emenike’s performance.

Before we get to that here are both his goals.

Emenike’s second goal did have a Ronaldo-esque feel to it as was pointed out below.

Understandably Emenike’s performance went down very well with most West Ham fans.

Some fans did however, take it a little bit too far claiming that Emenike and Payet are better than Neymar and Messi.

The Nigerian international was along with Payet outstanding against Blackburn. Emenike would have been awarded the man of the match in most other games but Payet may just have clinched it with his brace and assist.

There was a request however, from West Ham fans for their club to create a proper Twitter goal graphic next time Emenike scores – like the one they whipped up for Payet.
