West Ham target available for ‘right price’ says Besiktas president

Besiktas president Fikret Orman has revealed that West Ham target Gokhan Tore is available for the right price.

Orman stated that he does not want to see Tore leave but would not rule out a transfer if their valuation for the player is met.

“I do not want to really see him go but if we do sell him it has to be for the right reasons and if anybody wants Gokhan they have to pay what he is worth,” Orman said at his press conference.

“There is a lot of talk but not a lot of money being put up.”

The Hammers reached an agreement with the 23-year-old last month a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com but had yet to agree a transfer fee with Besiktas.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has openly stated that he wants Tore and the Turkish international winger is reported to be keen on being reunited with his former manager.

“Yes I want Gokhan Tore, will it happen? nobody can say yet  but we want him,” Bilic said live on Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv after the Croatia v Turkey game.

Bilic coached Tore for two seasons during his time in charge of the Eagles.

Besiktas and West Ham have however, yet to agree terms regarding a transfer fee for the explosive winger.

The 23-year-old winger was dropped from the Turkey Euro 2016 squad due to being suspended for the opening two group games.
