West Ham & West Brom target Demba Ba given green light to leave club from president

Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman has given Demba Ba the green light to leave the club over the summer.

“We could receive offers from China or elsewhere but we have no problem with him leaving,” Orman told NTV Spor.

Orman was responding to reports that Beşiktaş have received offers for the Senegalese international.

The Istanbul giants reportedly received a €14 million bid from Shanghai Shenhua for Demba Ba according to NTV Spor.

Beşiktaş vice-president Ahmet Nur Çebi revealed that the the club value the 29-year-old striker at €14 million.

“There have been serious offers in particular from China and Qatar but it is not the fee we are looking for. We want €14 million for Ba if anybody meets this valuation we would allow him to leave,” Çebi said.

The Times has also linked Ba with a return to the Premier League. West Ham and West Brom have also been closely linked with the former Chelsea man.
