'World Class' Mesut Ozil needs to score more goals says Arsenal boss Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Mesut Özil calling him ‘world class’ following the 27-year-old’s goal against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

Wenger went onto say that Özil does however need to add move goals to his game.

“A player of his calibre, you want him to add goals to his assists. He is world class,” Wenger told reporters at a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s game with Everton.

Arsenal take on Everton in the Premier League at the Emirates hoping to close the gap with first place Manchester City.

Wenger is expected to start Mesut Özil after he scored his second goal in as many big games midweek against Bayern Munich.

The Gunners will be in high spirits after beating Bayern 2-0 in the Champions League and are also in great form in the league.

The Gunners have won nine out of the last 16 games against Everton in the Premier League.
