Yilmaz Vural unveiled as Kardemir Karabükspor manager
Kardemir Karabükspor have officially confirmed the appointment of Yilmaz Vural as their new manager.
The news was confirmed on Karabükspor’s official website. Financial details of the deal are yet to be disclosed.
Vural replaces Tolunay Kafkas as manager of Karabükspor. The Steelers recently parted ways with Kafkas after a string of poor results.
Kafkas became the second Süper Lig manager to be sacked in 2015. The experienced manager was unable to record a single victory in his last seven games in charge.
Karabükspor are currently in the relegation zone in 17th place. The Steelers have lost five and drawn two of their last seven games and have only recorded 17 points all season.
Vural recently resigned from his position as Osmanlıspor manager after just 17 games in charge.
Vural is a controversial figure in Turkish football, the experienced manager has coached 23 clubs and is renowned for his touchline antics.
