Bayer Leverkusen U19s beat Zenit U19s 3-0 in Russia at the UEFA Youth League.

Marlon Frey opened the scoring on 25 minutes giving the away side the lead going into half time.

Pascal Richter doubled Bayer’s lead on 55 minutes and Marc Brasnic wrapped up the win on 63 minutes.

Emre Bayrak started the game for Bayer, the 18-year-old left-back played his first full 90 minutes in the Youth League.

Bayrak also featured in two other of Bayer’s games including the 4-1 loss against Zenit and the 3-1 loss against Monaco.

The young left-back joined Bayer from Aachen last summer and has made seven appearances in the A-Jugend Bundesliga West league domestically.

Bayer are still last in Group C with three points after four games despite beating Zenit.

Bayrak was born in Germany but is eligible to represent either Turkey or Germany at international level.

Bayer have two Turkish internationals playing in the senior team, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Ömer Toprak.
