Arsenal moved up into third place in the Premier League after recording a 2-0 victory over Stoke City.
The Germany international provided the assist for the Gunners opening goal when he played a long range pass over Stoke’s defence directly into the path of Theo Wacott’s run. Olivier Giroud scored the games other goal giving Arsenal the 2-0 win.
Özil played 84 minutes of yesterday’s game before being substituted off in place of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.
The 26-year-old was a doubt going into the game due a knee injury he suffered earlier this month. The former Real Madrid man missed his side’s 1-0 win over Newcastle in the last round of games.
Özil received a rating of 7.9 from whoscord, the Germany international made eight key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of %87.
