Atletico Madrid set to make €10m bid for West Ham target Tore

Atletico Madrid are preparing a €10 million bid for Besiktas star Gokhan Tore according to the Fanatik.

The report claims that the La Liga giants have been keeping close tabs on the Turkish international over the last and current seasons.

Tore’s agent Ahmet Bulut also recently revealed that Atleti had made an offer for the explosive winger over the summer transfer window but that Besiktas rejected the offer.

“I worked hard to bring Gökhan to Beşiktaş and he is really happy at the club I did offer him to Atletico Madrid over the summer but it did not work out I do not see him leaving over the winter,” Töre was quoted as saying by Fanatik.

West Ham have also been closely linked with Tore and head coach Slaven Bilic recently stated that he tried to sign the 23-year-old at the start of the season.

“I have always said that Gökhan Töre could play at any European team he has both the quality and the potential,” Bilic said.

Bilic of course knows Tore well having coached him for over the past two seasons.

The Turkish international also has experience being at a Premier League club having risen through the ranks of Chelsea as a youth player.
