Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic has complained about the intensity of his sides fixture list.

Bilic believes that the heavy match traffic is starting to take its toll on his players.

“We played a home game against Balıkesir following by an away game in Sivas, we will now travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge and then to Ankara to play Kayseri Erciyesspor,” Bilic told Fanatik.

“I am not using this as an excuse but of course the players are starting to feel tired, we are always on the road.”

The Black Eagles beat Sivasspor 1-0 at the 4 Eylül stadium last but were criticised for their performance and a number of the players looked fatigued.

Beşiktaş have played the most games in all competitions out of all the Süper Lig sides this season.

The Inönü stadium is currently being rebuilt and will be renamed the Vodafone Arena.

Beşiktaş have been forced to play home games in the Atatürk Olympic stadium as well as Konya and Ankara as a result.

The Eagles are currently joint first in the league on 51 points and face Club Brugge next in the Europa League Last 16.
