Arsenal star Mesut Özil has sparked rumours that Schalke 04 winger Julian Draxler could join the Gunners at the end of the season after sharing an Instagram image posing with the German international.
Özil does not mention anything regarding a potential move in his caption.
The 26-year-old wrote, “Follow my bro @draxlerofficial on his new instagram.”

The image may look innocent enough but it has fuelled already existing speculation linking Draxler with a move to Arsenal.
Özil has a history of sharing cryptic messages through his pictures, the 26-year-old has posted images of lions, his shirt on fire and falling asleep with his pet dog in the past and it seems he is at it again.
The 26-year-old has come under criticism for his performances this season but he was recently found to be the second best performing attacking midfielder in Europe since the turn of the year.
The World Cup winner scored 100 in the CIES Football Observatory’s latest performance rankings.
Özil was also selected as Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month and has provided the highest number of assists for his side since his return from injury.
