Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has urged his side to be on alert for Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Ter Stegen has warned his teammate of the threat the Germany international posses.
“He [Ozil] is impressive, and we will have to be alert that he does not harm us.
“I have played with him two or three times and he is a very significant player for the German national team and can do incredible things.” Marc-Andre ter Stegen was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
Ozil has been one of the Gunners’ star performer’s this season having provided 19 assists and seven goals in 36 appearances.
Arsenal take on Barcelona at the in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie tonight. Ozil is expected to be included in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up.
The north London based side are in need of a miracle after suffering a disappointing at the hands of the La Liga giants at the Emirates. Barcelona recorded a 2-0 win with both goals coming from Leonel Messi.
